Panduit – Why Work For Us?

Providing innovative solutions for over 55 years.

Panduit was born from innovation. In 1955 we launched our first product, Panduct Wiring Duct, a new invention that uniquely organized control panel wiring and allowed new wires to be added quickly and neatly. Since that time Panduit has introduced thousands of problem solving new products and remained committed to providing innovative electrical and network infrastructure solutions.

Today, customers look to Panduit as a trusted advisor who works with them to address their most critical business challenges within their Data Center,  Enterprise, and Industrial environments. Our proven reputation for quality and technology leadership coupled with a robust  ecosystem of partners across the world enables Panduit to deliver comprehensive solutions that unify the physical infrastructure to help our customers achieve operational and financial goals.

A place where you can grow your career.

At Panduit, we actively recruit talented, motivated people who have the skills needed to provide solutions to our customers.  In return for their talents, we offer competitive compensation; health and wellness benefits; professional development through a variety of training programs; tuition reimbursement; paid holidays; vacation time and personal development programs.

But more than that, at Panduit, you can  make an impact. Our unique culture fosters an environment where great things can be accomplished through collaboration, problem solving and creativity.

Career development is part of our culture..
We believe career development is not limited to advancement. It also includes developing your skills in your current position or making a move to another area within Panduit. Career development is a responsibility shared by both the company and the employee — it’s our goal to provide you with opportunities and resources that enhance your skills and allow you to grow professionally.

Training opportunities are plentiful.
Employees can attend various training courses and programs to assist them in their growth and development. I have been working at Panduit full-time

    Pros

No weekends, latest shift ends at 6:30pm, able to flex a bit in a call center environment, variety of work within the call center. There are times where the calls do come non-stop but not the norm. Able to multi-task between calls keeps your mind fresh and not the same mind numbing questions and answers in a typical call center environment. Generous 401k plan, health, dental and vision insurance. Very diverse workforce. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and free women hygiene products in bathroom.

    Cons

The pay is low for the amount of knowledge expected to learn and retain. When trying to inform management of how something may not work, it has to be seen before management believes. Managers not consistent among themselves on how things should be done or offered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue with the flexibility in scheduling and working with your employees. Has really increased morale since this has been done. Ask why we think something will not work and then explain to us why it has to be done the way you are requesting it to be done. Be consistent among each other.

Called by an HR specialist, and told to take a drug test prior to interview. After two weeks, they sent me to get my drug test done and scheduled an in person interview. The interview was brief (30 minutes), and casual. About a week later I received a call asking when I could start.
