    I worked at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen part-time (More than 3 years)


    Excellent pay if you are willing to put in the hours and give customers stellar service. There were nights I left with over $250 cash in tips. The harder you work, the more money you will make.


    It is not an easy job by any means. You don't get a lot of breaks, even when you are working a double shift. Some nights you won't be able to leave until 1 or 2am. Closing duties can be excessive at times.

    Advice to Management

    Reward good behavior. If your servers are happy and feel valued, your customers will have an exponentially better experience.

    I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen (Austin, TX).


    After being a server for several years I finally made it in to the bar. They did require that you take a 'psyche test' basically as you are dealing with so much cash they want to make sure you aren't crazy. Or that you will steal from them.
