We employ a cohort model for compensation in order to foster collaboration across our employees.  All employees at a certain level are paid the same so that no individual focuses on their own credit but rather the success of the collective firm.

We leverage a proprietary Expectations Framework (EF) to guide the career development of our employees.  The EF maps our expectations across 5 core dimensions (Effectiveness, Business of IT, Relationships, Leadership, and Others First).  This creates a clear framework for coaching our employees to achieve their maximum potential through rigorous development.

We believe in the efficiency of small teams working together to solve complex problems leveraging strategy and technology.  We believe in growing deep relationships with our people, our clients and others in our networks.  Our people develop trusted relationships with clients because of the value we provide them.  Value realized is evidenced through a client repeat/referral rate of 85%.  We are unwavering in our commitment to excellence and growing individuals to their fullest potential.

While we expect our solutions to change over time with technology waves, our product is consistent. Our product is our people.

With an entrepreneurial approach to career development, many find their career advancement accelerated when compared to peers at other consultancies. Our clearly defined promotion tracks and core competency requirements enable you to carefully track skills development and earn a promotion when ready – not when a more senior spot opens up. Below you will find our clearly defined advancement plan comprised of five classifications: Consultant, Associate, Manager, Principal and Vice President.  
 

Consultant​

As a Consultant at Pariveda, you will work on a project team to deliver technology solutions to our clients. Most of your projects will primarily involve designing, coding and testing technology solutions. You may also work on technology strategy or business process projects.

Associate

As an Associate with Pariveda, you will work on a project team to deliver technology solutions to our clients. Most of your projects will involve working with our clients to understand their business and technology requirements, and then designing, coding and testing technology solutions. You may also work on technology and business strategy projects.

Manager 

As a Manager with Pariveda, you will lead project teams to deliver solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for project estimation, work planning, issues management, risk management and change control. On application development projects, you will be the primary day-to-day contact with your client.  


Principal 

As a Principal, you will focus on client project delivery and management, recruitment and career development of our employees, and development of Pariveda’s local capabilities as well as some business development. Our Principals work closely with Vice Presidents to propose deals, navigate them through the sales cycle, and help manage the delivery. 


Vice President

As a Vice President, you will focus on new business development and management, recruitment and career development of our employees, and development of Pariveda’s national capabilities.​ We do not have a dedicated professional sales staff; instead all Vice Presidents propose projects, navigate them through the sales cycle, and then manage project delivery.

    Advice to Management

    There will always be pressure to behave like most other consulting firms. Resist the temptation. Stick to your intended design. Adapt when and where your mission leads you. Not what others expect and accept.

    Round 1: This was a 20 minute phone call with a recruiter. The recruiter asked general questions about my past and my values. Round 2: This was a 45 minute skype interview with the same recruiter. The recruiter as more specific questions about my coding experience and told me more about Pariveda. Round 3 (skipped): There were supposed to have a technical phone screen, but this never happened. Round 4: This was a 1 hour in person chat with a VP
