With an entrepreneurial approach to career development, many find their career advancement accelerated when compared to peers at other consultancies. Our clearly defined promotion tracks and core competency requirements enable you to carefully track skills development and earn a promotion when ready – not when a more senior spot opens up. Below you will find our clearly defined advancement plan comprised of five classifications: Consultant, Associate, Manager, Principal and Vice President.  
 

Consultant​

As a Consultant at Pariveda, you will work on a project team to deliver technology solutions to our clients. Most of your projects will primarily involve designing, coding and testing technology solutions. You may also work on technology strategy or business process projects.

Associate

As an Associate with Pariveda, you will work on a project team to deliver technology solutions to our clients. Most of your projects will involve working with our clients to understand their business and technology requirements, and then designing, coding and testing technology solutions. You may also work on technology and business strategy projects.

Manager 

As a Manager with Pariveda, you will lead project teams to deliver solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for project estimation, work planning, issues management, risk management and change control. On application development projects, you will be the primary day-to-day contact with your client.  


Principal 

As a Principal, you will focus on client project delivery and management, recruitment and career development of our employees, and development of Pariveda’s local capabilities as well as some business development. Our Principals work closely with Vice Presidents to propose deals, navigate them through the sales cycle, and help manage the delivery. 


Vice President

As a Vice President, you will focus on new business development and management, recruitment and career development of our employees, and development of Pariveda’s national capabilities.​ We do not have a dedicated professional sales staff; instead all Vice Presidents propose projects, navigate them through the sales cycle, and then manage project delivery.

    I have been working at Pariveda Solutions full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Pariveda has solid management and leadership. They are mature, holistic, thoughtful, deliberate, and conservative. There is a lot of transparencies with salary, promotions, expectations, and company financials - gives you a feel that everyone is all in it together, moving in one direction. The low turnover and high employee engagement show that the company does a lot of things right. At this size and early maturity stage, the company has plenty of room to grow, a great time to join and be a part of that - lots of opportunities to learn and grow your career. You won't be bored and stay stagnant, in fact, you are sure to grow much faster than industry or at other companies since management is all about growing people and accelerating your career. The people here are smart and collaborative, they also genuinely care about you, in and outside of work - it makes a great working environment.

    Cons

    As Pariveda grows, they have to figure out how to stay true to the core values, ie focusing on the individual's career and maintaining transparency. Pariveda is building something very unique that will change the tech/consulting industry, which is exciting, but there's a lot of work to be done and things to figure out as we go. The pay could also be more competitive, but the accelerated growth does make up for that, and in the long run, will turn out to be more worthwhile to invest your career here.

    Pretty standard dinner/group interview process total took about 2 week. There were some very smart and bright people interviewing. Make sure you know your stuff before you get in there so you can sound confident and sell your self the best.
