I have been working at Parkview Medical Center

This is a smaller hospital, so it has a family type feeling, so you won't feel like your lost and just another number, other staff and management will know who you are.
Management is pretty approachable about issues and concerns, which is not common at most healthcare facilities.

Pay is horrible at this place, the hospital can be a lot more competitive if they want to. This is very disappointing, that they take care of their upper management financially and but no where near being competitive with the working class. Most people are aware of management getting yearly bonuses each year, give at least some of that to the working class.
Turn-Over is High with nursing staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase pay and be competitive, this is choice from the company that is doable its just if you want to do it.
This place focuses on extreme physician satisfactory, they speak, everybody jumps. Focus more on patient satisfactory. Patient satisfactory comes from how happy nurses are. There is a high turnover rate which can be avoided. Research needs to be done on staff retention and focus on that more than physician satisfactory. This in turn will save the hospital money in the long run.
