    I have been working at PartyLite full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    A medium sized company, but feels like a small company. The staff all know each other and are friendly. The best thing about being there is the people I get to work with and interact with every day. The company has been good to me and flexible throughout the years that I have been there. The benefits are very good.

    Cons

    Communication is a problem between upper management and staff. The business often changes on a quickly and it is difficult to complete a task or initiative effectively. Upper management is often reactionary and it is difficult to break out of our 'old' ways. There is also not enough staff to keep up with the demand of the workload.

    Advice to Management

    Open channels of communication. Use your staff based on their abilities. Bring new staff in to help energize existing people and to help with workload.

    Interview

    it was a quick hiring process. I was called for initial interview, few days later called in for a second, and received an offer within the following week. I have spoken to direct supervisor, director during the first interview, and following interview with different department heads, including, marketing, sourcing, quality.
