I worked at Parx Casino part-time (More than 5 years)
Have the opportunity to make lots of money. 24 hour company can get lucky to find a schedule that fits you. Meet lots of people. Can build amazing relationships with guest and employees. Fun environment.
Might end up working grave shift even if you don't want to. You will work holidays, nights, and weekends unless your super lucky. Smoking environment. Guest of the casino can be really nasty and in most cases management doesn't back you up. A lot of favoritism going in between management and employees (may have to kiss butt to move up) but not in all cases.
Advice to Management
Learn a little more about your employees and build better relationships. Defend them if you can for human sake from guest that are flat out wrong.
You audition on stage with about 10 girls at a time out of 150 usually, and you have to dance for 30 seconds. Its like a casting call for an acting job, they also make you try on the uniform if you make is past phase 1... phase 2 is a mock server
