    I have been working at Paycor full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Entrepreneurial environment let's you make a bigger impact
    - Culture is great, the people here are wonderful
    - Making huge investment in technology, huge growth resulting
    - Great industry, HR & Payroll software is a great growth industry with lot's of potential
    - Product are improving drastically
    - Management is easily accessible
    - New building is outstanding
    - High energy level environment

    Cons

    - Fast-paced environment is great. Can sometimes be a little exhausting
    - Growth is great, but the change can be overwhelming

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Things are overall great. I'd say invest in your people and not just technology to reduce turnover and improve employee productivity. Doing this will improve Paycor's reputation as a top employer and create a group of Paycor evangelists all over the country.

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Paycor in May 2014.

    Interview Details

    Submitted resume. Received call from HR department and scheduled phone interview. Phone interview never happened as HR person had multiple commitments and could not get free. They require you to take online personality profile assessment. Per interviewers, no one actually looks at or uses the assessment. Scheduled meeting for in person interview with existing application development managers

    Interview Questions
    • There were no questions related to managing developers, projects or growing developers. All questions were related to architecture. Position description is for a team manager, but interviewers are looking for a tech lead.   Answer Question
