I worked at Penn National Gaming full-time for more than a year

A people/customer oriented business. Possibility of over-time. State governed gaming laws. Uniforms provided.

Misguided management with a "me" attitude. Definitely plays to favorites. Occasional long hours with little chance for mandatory breaks. Once employed, HR seems to vanish and not be available for assistance.

    Interview Details

The hiring process was different, but fun something I've never experienced for a job interview. Since It was still in the process of being built all interviews were off site. Anyway they had panel interviews 3 people from upper management and then about 15 other applicants basically it was who ever caught there eye moved on to the next round then the following round was just normal interview process.

    Interview Questions
    • No difficult questions panels were whoever could outshine the other applicants they wants to see creativity, goals, values, a outgoing person. second round interviews were just basic interview questions - tell me why we should hire you-what makes you the best candidate-tell me about your job history- why are you seeking other employment.   Answer Question
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview
