Person-centered corporate philosophy. LOTS of training. Supportive environment. Management is committed to the population served. Opportunities for advancement.
Full-time employees have a difficult time getting time off because of short-staffing issues. Human Services is a fluid field, and the lower-level employee base (weekends, overnights) don't stay long as they move on to full-time positions.
Advice to Management
Hire more "float" positions, and be supportive and encouraging of employees being able to use their personal time off - particularly overnight and evening shifts.
