I worked at Personal Group Of Companies full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Excellent money making possibilities. If you can sell, you can make a fortune. Benefits and incentives are great; luxury holidays, outstanding commission and luxury motors after smashing targets.

    Cons

The training was terrible, 2 weeks of 9am to 6pm classroom time, which you are told on day 1 in the field is irrelevant, the Company is basically covering its backside should any complaints be made to the FCA.
Working away from home Monday to Friday is a bit of a killer, but we were told up front at the interview that this would happen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on the staff you've got, support the people that need it, ignoring slow starters doesn't help anyone.

    Application Details

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Personal Group Of Companies in September 2012.

    Interview Details

Online Psychometric tests followed by 2 stage interview process; group assessment followed by individual interview @ Head Office. The Interview gives a very good and thorough assessment of the position, my first day in the field was exactly as the interview portrayed it.
I was offered a position to start approximately 2 weeks after my 2nd interview, however there was a guy on my induction that had waited for almost 4 months to start.

    Interview Questions
    • Group assessments, ie: sell us your worst holiday, sell me this pen etc. Nothing you wouldn't expect.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
