    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Pharm-Olam International full-time (More than 10 years)

Amazing, supportive colleagues and an easygoing environment. I ask for things that make my working life easier, and I usually get them. Good opportunity for upward movement as long as you perform well - but why would one expect anything different? My manager is excited about the company's opportunities and the future -- a huge part of why I'm here. The company is changing in a positive way. It's exciting to know that employees can all be part of the change if they wish to do so!

Nothing that isn't existing in any other company: offices' layouts / working spaces / technology could be more current.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to employees, and work to make improvements that benefit everyone. Make sure that communication is clear and occurs often so that we all know where the company is going. Comfortable, inviting work spaces are are important. Nurture the culture!

    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pharm-Olam International (Houston, TX).

2 phone interviews followed by face to face interviews. interviews basic, focus around basic skills as if an entry level position. persons conducting interviews frequently had less experience than I had. HR interview a bit strange as there was a focus around the job which HR not qualified to judge vs. around the company, benefits and overall fit. received no information on the company or benefits during interview process.

    Reasons for Declining

low offer, was not confident with the management I met with.
