Pharmacyclics – Why Work For Us?

To build a viable biopharmaceutical company that designs, develops and commercializes novel therapies intended to improve quality of life, increase duration of life and resolve serious medical healthcare needs. To identify and control promising product candidates based on exceptional scientific development and administrational expertise, develop our products in a rapid, cost-efficient manner and to pursue commercialization and/or development partners when and where appropriate. We exist to make a difference for the better and these are important times to do just that.

At Pharmacyclics, we intend to create medicines that improve both the quality and duration of patient lives. This requires hard work, sacrifice, money, organization, communication, affinity for what we do and a willingness to be of service to others.

We measure our progress by the number of patients benefitting from our medicines.

Our culture is the expression of who we are, what we stand for and how willing we are to be of service to others.

We strive to be professional across all that we do. We realize that competence involves observation, study and practice. We realize that knowledge is as valuable as it is applied to improving conditions we face.

We realize that by assuming responsibility, we open ourselves up to new ability. We believe in open two-way communication.

We believe that a problem defined is a problem that can be resolved. We believe that at its core, innovation means to introduce change: “in” means enter and “novate” means to change or replace. We believe each of us is capable of innovation.

We believe in transparency. We believe in performing our duties in 100% compliance with all regulations governing our activities.

We believe our medicines should serve as true allies of both patients and caregivers that face serious unmet healthcare needs. We are committed to scientific and administrative excellence, integrity and doing what it takes to make things go right.

We believe “making a difference for the better” is a source of unparalleled joy.

Small start up with big aspirations.
Good career opportunities given the company's growth.
I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years PCYC is 2x the size it is now.

long hours can sometime be a drag
pay could be more competitive especially given the long hours
RSUs and options should be better
