    Philips announces Q2 2015 results- beats estimates and encouraged by comparable sales growth and margin improvement in both Healthcare and Lighting domains.

    Philips Beats Estimates Helped by Rising Health-Care Profit

    Royal Philips NV, the Dutch company which is splitting off its lighting unit to focus on consumer health-care, reported earnings that beat analyst estimates on rising demand in North America, Eastern Europe and India. Adjusted second-quarter earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation rose 27 percent to 501 million euros ($550 million), the company said in a statement Monday.

    I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Philips Lighting.


    First phone interview, 2 weeks later SKYPE interview with a Manager in Italy. Again after 2 weeks phone interview and then after a 2 weeks SKYPE interview!. After that personal interview. Again after 2 weeks another SKYPE interview. Waited 3 weeks for an answer, called, left a message. Finally after 4 months of initial contact got ONE line e-mail "Regret to inform that we have choosen another candidate"
