Too much arbitrary busy work; Confused upper management; Unreasonable deadlines; Why are there so many conference calls?; Would expect more pay for the amount of tasks; Full time turns into 50-60 hours/week.
Advice to Management
I've worked in management for several years now, and it get's more ridiculous as time goes on. Please, everyone get on the same page. It is so important to your team to have strong management and support when needed. Don't waste the staff's time (and the company's money) going back and forth with how you want to do things. We want to run a successful hotel, not push pencils.
