I have been working at Plantronics full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Have some really innovative products for business areas that they are developing in the future. Reinventing broad communications with contextual intelligence, allowing people and businesses to automate many things and get access to information they never had. Mind blowing acoustics. The future opportunity comes with an extraordinary working environment. A lot of great people. Talented and collegial. Management is supportive. Very ethical company. Huge contributor in the community. Environmental leader, solar powered, hydroponically grow their own food.

    Cons

They are spread a little thin. Trying to compete in many business and consumer markets, including consumer markets where their brand and critical mass is low. This means that you can feel under-resourced and people are working very hard.
