Great people to work with. Exciting to watch students learn and grow. Benefits are great and work-life balance is encouraged by management.

Low pay compared to other area educational institutions, including those of the same size. Transparency is preached but the rank and file don't buy it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sacrificing your employees well-being (salary) for the sake of growth or building new spaces is wrong. Being an urban University requires salaries to be somewhat competitive with private companies as well as other higher ed institutions.

    Interview Details

The initial outreach will take ages. Ages, I tell you.

From being on the inside I can tell you that a lot of applicants are disqualified right off the bat because they either want too much money or don't have the right (unspecified) qualifications.

There are a lot of applicants, period. A lot of internal applicants as well. It takes a lot of time to sort through everything but no one here really jumps on anything.

As far as benefits go they're okay, but don't expect to move up here.
