    I worked at Polymer Group

    Pros

Growing manufacturing company who puts their employees first with safety and health. Good benefits package including health insurance, retirement, disability compensation.

    Cons

Employees work twelve hour shifts and lot of overtime. Environment can get uncomfortably hot with the type of manufacturing process that is done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I believe the leadership at Polymer Group is very conscientious of the work their employees are doing. I appreciate that the leadership listens to the employees.

    Application Details

I applied in-person. The process took 8+ monthsinterviewed at Polymer Group in July 2010.

    Interview Details

the process took several months but in the end the hiring was done with little fan fair. HR did all the heavy lifting, and made several mistakes. Once I arrived the HR people actually were my only contact. No support when I started nor while learning. My boss expected my peers to do all the training and then later blamed them for my lack of information.

    Interview Questions
    • Really was not a question as much as an almost requirement to kiss up to his ego. Very much a small man thing. He needed very much to show that he was the smartest guy in the roon.   View Answer
