As a student, working part time jobs on campus has been very helpful.

I have been working at Pomona College

    Pros

Any student can choose from a variety of jobs, some of which are mostly student run to begin with. Generally working with great people in a calm environment.

    Cons

In my particular case, I am often working by myself without official staff as part of my specific shift. Though nothing terrible has happened, it would be difficult to take care of something that is beyond by reach as a student.

    Interview Details

There was no interview process. You apply through professors, and generally if you have taken the class before, you have a higher chance of getting the job.
For Computer Science, there is a application that has to be filled out. It is often difficult to fill out as it is given earlier in the previous semester when schedules are not yet finalized, but giving a ballpark estimation of your schedule should be fine
