I have been working at Portware L L C full-time (more than 5 years)Pros
The working environment and culture is the best I have seen so far for a company this size. Management really looks out to ensure the cultural health of the company is good and think of their employees to boost morale. There are also various types of clients whom use Portware, so there is no monotony to the work being done and exposure to technologies. Every Portware implementation and client is different, hence one will get a lot of exposure to different types of financial and trading workflows plus technologies. I have always seen the business grow, even during the recent slump.Cons
As with any vendor, one needs to understand that there will always be pressure to deliver and be there for the client. So there are times when it seems like there are not enough resources to pull through and more has to be done at times to ensure timelines are met.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Consider the need for better time management balanced with resource management when signing on clients.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at Portware L L C in December 2010.Interview Details
1st round was telephonic.
Then i was called for a face to face.
Questions were focused on both Technical as well as Problem solving aspects.
They started with simple questions and then built upon that.
Unlike most of the interviews, they focused more on what i knew than what i am supposed to know.
Overall standards of the interview was very high.
People were kind and very friendly.Interview Questions
