When Eugene A. Ludwig founded Promontory Financial Group in 2001, his vision was to assemble a premier team of experts to help financial services companies resolve the challenges arising from compliance, regulation, and changing market conditions.

As Promontory's Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Gene provides hands-on leadership and direction to all our global offices.      


Alfred H. Moses is Promontory’s Co-Founder, Senior Partner and Chief Strategy Officer.   

Alfred was a Partner at the Washington, D.C., law firm of Covington & Burling for much of his career.  Alfred also served as Special Adviser and Special Counsel to President Jimmy Carter, as American Ambassador to Romania and as Special Presidential Envoy for the Cyprus Conflict.

    Great coworkers, good pay, and lots of opportunities for interns to do client work.


    Hours can be long, and managers are sometimes quite disorganized. The work seems pretty redundant; all projects I was exposed to were very similar.

    I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Promontory Financial Group in October 2014.

    Interview Details

    Applied on website, heard back within a week for phone interview. Phone interview focused on prior experience and relevant coursework. Second round interview in DC a few weeks after phone interview. Interviewed with team members, discussed my work and what the team did. Everyone was very nice and informative. Overall seemed like a very nice atmosphere and place to work.
