I worked at Publishers Clearing House full-time for more than a year

Healthcare is a great perk, decent 401k matching, off time is average to above average, possibilities to work from home now and then. Helpful, happy people surrounding you. Great atmosphere, the environment is casual and well suited to non-competitive people.

The internal structure needs a shake up. lousy hierarchy, chain of command is all over the place. Not enough streamlined processes, things get routed and re-routed through the same people who don't do their job well enough the first time. Way too focused on pushing out inferior products that are heavy on looking pretty and not doing much. Located too far from anything worthwhile unless you live on LI. Salary is not competitive being so close to NYC.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think more creatively. Don't handcuff your growth by being stingy with money. design and development should go hand and hand. don't make development an afterthought. promote better.
