Quality of people, Matrix approach to management, strong leadership, this product in the industry, makes it easy to sell, makes it easy to keep customers happy.
Difficult to advance professionally because of how the organization is structured, Plus some level of politics. Positions of leadership are hired from outside, usually from previous acquaintances and usually not advertised internally.
Advice to Management
Provide more opportunity for career advancement. Promote from within.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Qlik (Downingtown, PA) in July 2015.
Interviewed with direct manager, HR, VP, and entire team. A lot of emphasis was placed on my interaction with the team and evaluation of my real-world work versus hackneyed behavioral interview questioning. While there were some, it was one of the most practical interviews I've ever been on.
Very fair but not necessarily a lot of room to negotiate salary. However taking a job here means you are probably going for culture and satisfaction over super high salary. But there are several other perks that are added in to make up the difference.
