At Quidsi, every day is different from the last. Our passion is as infectious now as it was when we first started. Lending a Hand
Quidsians also embrace our communities and our customers' communities around the globe. The Quidsi Volunteer Club arranges fundraisers and volunteer events where our employees can come together to help out the community. From the annual backpack drive for the Boys & Girls club, to raising money for March of Dimes, to volunteering at the local animal shelter, to donating supplies to the American Red Cross, Quidsi and our employees are serious about giving back. Quidsi also offers all employees Volunteer Time Off to allow employees to take advantage of both Quidsi-sponsored activities and those activities in employees' own backyards.

Tight knit teams, fun environment, lots of development opportunities
Super easy commute from World Trade Center
Autonomy with internal projects
I was a customer for years prior to joining. Every interaction with the customer care team has been amazing, which was the big reason I decided to join.
The Employee Services team comes up with the most creative ideas to ensure we are all taken care of - from cinco de mayo to subsidized music lessons to take your kids to work day, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone is happy
General development opportunities - SDE bootcamp, Ted talks Fridays, internal development courses, etc.
Your responsible for bringing yourself up to speed and figuring out where to go for info. This is the flip side to having an autonomous work environment.
Advice to Management
None - everyone is doing a great job. All hands meetings ensure visibility into company wide goals.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks – interviewed at Quidsi (Jersey City, NJ) in December 2014.
The interview process was professional. It was flexible so I had time to prepare for the interview. The recruiter response fast and the team was able to answer all my questions about the role.
After one round of coding phone interview, I was invited to on-site interview. There were 5 rounds of 1 :1 interviews. 1 round of coding, 1 round of system design and 3 rounds with managers. Besides coding questions, many behavior questions are asked during the interviews with managers as they are looking for a team player.
It is really fast pace startup environment. It has great support from Amazon and also exciting culture.
Really enjoyed the whole process.
- The interview was not difficult. More behavior questions are expected to make sure you are a team player. Answer Question
