I worked at RBC Insurance full-time (More than a year)

They had great managers. They had achievable requirement for conference trips. They gave you a book of business to work from which was extremely nice. That was my first introduction into insurance services and I didn't realize how good I had it from that standpoint.

Their products available to sell were limited. Part of this was due to them being on the market to be sold. RBC had banks in the Southeast and had purchased Liberty Life Insurance Company as their insurance arm in 2000 and then in 2010 RBC sold Liberty Life and has completely pulled out of the United States.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at RBC Insurance (Mississauga, ON (Canada)) in March 2015.

Recruiter contacted me within approximately 2 weeks of the position being posted. Interview was with a member of the RBC recruiting team. The interview took place in person in RBC Insurance office in Mississauga. The atmosphere was friendly, pleasant and relaxing. Two days after the interview the recruiter contacted me to advise me of the outcome of my interview.
