Paid Well with excellent benefits and scheduled pay increases. Great opportunity to be promoted within. Tuition assistance to attend the school of your choice. Opportunity for on the job training. Opportunity to work overtime. The company offered 401 K with matching company participation. Vacation plans up to 5 weeks for 20 years of service.
The company did not invest in the Blast Furnace. Over time the expense to bring the furnace up to date became too costly.

The steel company annually produces about 7.5 million tons of rolled, dipped, and galvanized steel pipes and sheets used in appliances, construction, automobiles, and other applications.
