I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks – interviewed at RLI.
They use recruiters and their own website to recruit. Once you submit a resume, it could be more than a month before you hear something, if ever. You first get screened by HR. If you pass, you come back for a lengthy interview with 2-6 people, sometimes in a group interview. Usually there is at least one more interview before you receive an offer and then you go through a detailed background check of your credit, criminal history, drug test and references.

Reasons for Declining
I got the impression it wasn't a collegial atmosphere. I didn't see people having relaxed conversations or even smiling. I've heard from other employees that no one feels safe in their job and that one day someone will be there and the next day they're just gone, even if they seem to be doing a great job.
