I worked at RTGX full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great PM, till he left and very supportive upper management. Considering that RTGX is not a huge company like Lockheed, L3, etc, their benefits package was good for the size of their business. I think they try their best to help out their employees.

    Cons

Like most other companies, employees at off site locations don't tend to enjoy the same benefits as those at the main office. With RTGX its the Christmas party, bonuses, and events. Benefits has decreased over the years while I was employed. Losing the work hour bonus, and other bonuses for the holidays.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes other locations feels neglected (based on other reviews), and it might be a good idea not to flaunt how great it is working at the main office opposed to other locations on your website. Especially when other sites don't have that same benefits. I understand all the challenges that is associated with contracting and lowest bid models, and this is just how things work out.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RTGX.

    Interview

I submitted my resume and had an initial contact by phone, a technical interview with on-site contract team members, then a Skype interview by the RTGX manager. A security clearance is required. A CompTIA Security + certification was required.

    Interview Questions

    • Technical questions were fair and not tricky, clearly related to the job skills required, my experience, and the areas of my certifications. The RTGX manager put emphasis on being a team player, with questions about interpersonal skills and handling work situations.   1 Answer

    Negotiation

Not much room for salary negotiation, lots of information about the benefits package.
