THE RACETRAC WAY
You don’t have to tell us – we know our team members are super cool. They do an amazing job of making sure every single guest feels like family when they visit our stores. When RaceTrac team members put people first, it extends far beyond the parking lot and they use The RaceTrac Way as a constant guide.
The RaceTrac Way is not just a trendy motto that gets thrown around from time to time and it’s not a yellow-brick road leading to our stores (although that’s not such a bad idea). It’s our culture, it’s who we are and it drives us to success. By putting people first, we create a culture of strong performers who have a warrior’s passion to succeed while humbly committing to the team rather than self.
Most importantly, we believe in living for fun each and every day because let’s face it, you can’t take taquitos too seriously! It is this commitment that makes RaceTrac an exciting and engaging place to work. So whether it’s in the Store Support Center or at one of our many locations, you can find your place at RaceTrac!
We attribute our success to the energy, teamwork and winning attitudes of our people. If you want to join our exciting team as an associate, a member of management or in a store support center position find out more above.
At RaceTrac, our people are our competitive advantage and our store team members look forward to serving the nearly 400,000 guests who visit RaceTrac daily. We find the more our managers and associates are involved with the store, the more we’re able to continue to provide our guests with the products and services they expect when they shop at RaceTrac.
Our team members demonstrate the RaceTrac Way: a warrior’s passion, a humble attitude and living for fun every day.
We set all of our people up for success. Advancement can happen quickly for outstanding, dependable team members and with RaceTrac’s history of growth, successful associates and managers always have opportunities. In fact, many RaceTrac leaders started their careers in one of our stores.
Our culture is the combination of our mission statement, core values, leadership qualities and our own RaceTrac Way of doing things. If you’re looking for a career opportunity with plenty of room for growth and a fun culture, look no further.
Being a part of the RaceTrac team means committing to our core values of Honesty, Respect, Positive Attitude, Efficiency and Teamwork in everything we do.

You will gain valuable experience in guest service, time management, teamwork, and communication. Thousands of people come through our doors each week, and it will be your job to ensure all of them have an awesome experience!
As a RaceTrac Manager, you are more than just a supervisor - you are a leader, a coach, a mentor, and above all, Superman – just kidding, but just as important and cool. Your primary responsibilities are training and developing our talented team members and taking care of our guests. In addition, you are charged with driving sales, exemplifying guest service, maintaining positive relationships with vendors, monitoring inventory, and creating a safe and fun environment! We do this to provide our guests with best in class service they expect every time they visit RaceTrac.
Britney Coleman has been a proud member of the RaceTrac team since April 2013. In addition to her role as Swing Manager, Britney is currently studying to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
When we asked Britney what she loves moves about working at RaceTrac, she shared with us that she decided to join the organization because of the people.
"From the beginning, I felt welcomed by everyone I encountered and the feeling has never left, so neither have I. I enjoy spending my days making my guests as well as my team members lives simpler and more enjoyable. I love changing the course of someone's day from negative to positive with something as simple as a smile. I plan on continuing to learn and grow with RaceTrac and look forward to all of the opportunities and challenges that are in store."
Britney is a perfect example of living The RaceTrac Way and we consider ourselves lucky to have her as a member of the RaceTrac family!

One of the best processes I've been involved in. Detailed multiple interviews. This company is well represented. And I'm happy to be employed by them. They did not speak to me as if they were better than me. Very approachable which made the whole process detailed but comfortable.Interview Questions
