I worked at Rdf Corp full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I had the opportunity to learn various degrees of accounting on the job, people were wonderful to work with

    Cons

Understanding of the product they were shipping, I didn't have opportunity to experience in great lengths the manufacturing part of the product, wish there was more opportunity

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen a little more to the actual employee they might have some great ideas to share

    Purchasing Assistant Interview

    Application Details

I applied through other source. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Rdf Corp in August 2014.

    Interview Details

Saw the posting online and submitted my resume by email to the hiring manager, with a brief note of my interest in the position. I was contacted within a few hours by the manager, asking about my salary requirements. I emailed him the information, and within a few hours I received a phone call asking me to schedule an interview. I arrived at the location, not expecting to fill out a paper application (I didn't have any addresses or phone numbers with me). Once I filled out the application, the HR person came out (he didn't identify himself as HR, so I assumed he was a manager), introduced himself, and let me to a conference room. The interview was pretty standard, although I was surprised when he asked me about my Administrative experience (I was interviewing for a Purchasing position).

    Interview Questions
    • I asked the manager what the last step in the process was, and he handed me a piece of paper with two questions on each side: the first one was a scenario where I had to choose to give a ride to someone who needs it. My three choices were as follows: an old man who was dying and needed to go to the hospital; a doctor who once saved my life; and the person of my dreams. The other question asked about a difficult experience I've had at work and how I handled it.   View Answer
