Regal Entertainment Group operates the largest and most geographically diverse theatre circuit in the United States, consisting of 7,361 screens in 575 theatres in 42 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Saipan, and American Samoa.
Regal Cinemas was originally founded in 1989 by Mike Campbell. We began operating our first theatre in 1990 and rapidly grew to become one of the most successful theatre companies in the United States. Regal Entertainment Group was created when Anschutz Investments and Oaktree Capital consolidated Regal Cinemas, United Artist Theatres, and Edwards Theatres into one entity. During 2002, the three circuits were combined and the Regal corporate headquarters were maintained in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Our Company continues to grow through acquisitions, new construction, and innovative marketing. Currently, REG is the largest theatre company in the world. In 2009, Amy Miles, who was Chief Financial Officer at the time, was promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As a member of the Board of Directors for the company, Mike Campbell continues to remain active in the overall operations of REG.

Our Box Office Attendants don’t just sell tickets! Instead, they are our first act, so to speak, and have the first opportunity to wow our guests by inviting them to our facility with a warm and welcoming smile and obvious desire to make their entertainment experience exceptional from the start. Greeting them and providing guidance concerning available features, rating, and content issues can increase the likelihood that the guest will be satisfied with their selection.
Whether our guests desire a quick snack or a full meal, our concessionists’ are ready to greet and serve our guests the highest quality snacks and meals with an engaging attitude and sincere desire to serve our guests' needs.
Our Ushers are in charge of the appearance of our theatres and ensure that our guests are able to enjoy their feature safely without interruption or disturbances.
Associate, Assistant, General Managers
Our Associate and Assistant Managers work with the crew to achieve the highest quality operations at the direction of the General Manager. Our Associate and Assistant Managers are involved in all aspects of the daily operations of the theatre.
Our General Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the theatre and must ensure the guests have a flawless visit and our staff a welcoming work environment.
