Regal Entertainment Group is proud to support the Knoxville Habitat for Humanity. Habitat has been devoted to building "simple, decent, and affordable" housing addressing the issues of poverty all over the world including in our own community. The week of April 11-17, Knoxville Habitat will host their annual Blitz Week. With our tradition of giving back to the communities in which we operate, Regal Entertainment Group will be sponsoring 1 of the 6 builds. All levels of our corporate staff are rolling up their sleeves to build, roof and paint this new house!

As of 2015, Regal Entertainment Group operates the largest and most geographically diverse theatre circuit in the United States; consisting of 7,361 screens in 575 theatres in 42 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Saipan and American Samoa.
Regal Cinemas was founded in 1989 by Mike Campbell and rapidly grew to become one of the most successful theatre companies in the world. Regal Entertainment Group was created when Anschutz Investments and Oaktree Capital acquired Regal Cinemas, United Artist Theatres and Edwards Theatres. Regal Cinemas management team was selected to oversee the newly formed Regal Entertainment Group and its corporate headquarters remain in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Our Company continues to grow through acquisitions, new construction and amenities such as expanded concessions, restaurant style food offerings, luxury auditoriums with reserved seating, recliners and innovative marketing. In 2009, Amy Miles, who was formerly Regal Entertainment Group’s Chief Financial Officer, was promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Our company established the Regal Foundation in 2003 as a non-profit charitable organization to coordinate support for numerous national and local philanthropic efforts. Since its inception, the Regal Foundation has donated in excess of $47 million dollars to local and national charitable organizations. The Regal Foundation supports the communities in which Regal operates by partnering with selected charities. Regal Entertainment Group theatres across the country proudly provide fully accessible theatres which include personal captioning and descriptive audio technologies for our guests that are deaf, hard of hearing or blind. We also offer special showings and other accommodations for those that have special or modified sensory needs.
Each summer moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard the Regal Summer Movie Express and enjoy a great selection of children films. During this 9-week festival, designated Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres offer selected G or PG rated movies for only a dollar; with proceeds benefiting the Will Rogers Institutes medical research and health education efforts.
Regal Entertainment Group also hosts an annual fundraiser called "Stars of Hope" where guests are invited to donate to help the many charitable partners of the Regal Foundation which supports the communities where our guests and employees live.
Regal Entertainment Group has a long tradition of giving back to the communities in which we live and work. To support and encourage the giving spirit amongst our team members, we created our Community Showmanship program.
The program is intended to honor Regal Entertainment Group employees who generously donate their time and talent to eligible non-profit organizations within their communities. When a Regal Entertainment Group employee volunteers their time for a qualifying charitable organization, Regal provides a monetary grant to the organization on behalf of the contributing employee and the Regal Foundation. Regal is such a great company to work for. Our General Manager cares so much about all of the staff and wants to see everyone succeed in whatever they do. All the managers are there to help. When there is a line in concessions your sure to see management back in the stand helping as much as they can. You'll even see our GM working with the staff and doing a lot of one on one training with them to improve their skills. Our building is so beautiful and is kept so clean and well maintained. As a team we make sure to keep our building looking new to make sure our guests really have a royal experience in a amazing location.

The interview process is easy. They already knew me because I worked at that location and applied to be "promoted" to manager. I was friends with fellow workers but was not friends with any managers. The manager position is BS as it doesn't matter how hard you have worked, it depends on whether you hung out with the managers.
Honestly do not feel bad if you don't get the job it's not worth it unless you want to be able to put the title of manager on your resume.
