    Pros

    Company had a great culture and vibe. Young and high energy. Some of the most talented people in the market research world.

    Cons

    Slow to expand and leverage core competencies. Its PDA based consumption diary panel and research is amongst the best in the CPG market research industry with no other competition, yet unable to penetrate. Huge growth potential.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The basic tenets of Research consulting are different from process and production industries. Companies feel intellectual capital can be outsourced and research can be templated and boxed. Unfortunately only 25% of research can be templated and boxed. For the rest develop smart and creative thinking with sound fundamental knowledge of research to win.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days - interviewed at Research International in October 2010.

    Interview Details

    First spoke through their HR dept. on the phone. They gave me info on salary range. Spoke then to my supervisor and the conversation was more relaxed and relational.
