    I have been working at Resource Corporation full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Flexible- this company will work with you if you are running late or need time off.
    Pay- starts you out at base pay of $17.00/hr
    Size- The company is small but big enough for you to get promoted in a different state if you want to
    Opportunities- you will be working in a medical faclity so you will have opportunity to gain new contacts for your future career and make your resume look amazing!
    Everyone is educated- you will not be working with a bunch of idiots everyone there has some sort of degree or is in the process of getting one!

    Cons

    Medical- the medical benefits are not for families, it is extremely on the expensive side.
    Pay- You are stuck at a solid pay rate unless you progress in the company
    Churn- New employees all the time, this job is stressful if you don't like teaching yourself
    NO 401K match- this is the first company that does NOT match what you put in your 401K, this is a deal breaker that I found out after employment.
    Uppper management- you only get a review of how you are doing if you are doing something wrong, or they feel that you need to work on something.
    There are no solid rules- everyone does process their way, there is only certain things that are the same across the bard like filling out applications.
    Callbacks- if you have no work you will be doing boring work in place of that.....

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I would say set expectations for your employees, don't spring issues etc on them as if they should have already known. There needs to be a book of processes for new employees to read. Don't just let any old person train, my trainer knew what she was talking about however she did not convey the information in the right way where I would not be confused later. There should be a trainer designated to get the new hires set up for success NOT for failure and criticism when they ARE the NEW employee.

    There definitely needs to be matching of the 401K this is Absurd! I guess keeping afloat is the important thing though..
