In the 10 years that I have been employed with RUI, I have advanced quickly up the ladder. RUI really recognizes their top performers and rewards them. I really believe in the culture that has been in place since 1969. It has clear direction and company values that you can stand behind.
There is not much I can say as far as cons. The only thing I can think of is the long hours, but you have to make some sacrifces in order to deliver results.
Advice to Management
Compensation scale for internal hires should be re-evaluated.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 days – interviewed at Restaurants Unlimited (Los Angeles, CA) in November 2014.
I was given the number to the general manager by a friend. I was able to get into to contact the GM very quickly. When I interviewed in person, it seemed that the GM was at a loss of words most of the time. We talked about basic manager duties, reviewed what I currently did at my employer at the time over dinner. One of the more interesting interviews I've had.
