Our StoryRevention was founded in 2003 with the goal of becoming the leading technology serving the hospitality industries. The name Revention was a play of several words such as: Revolutionary, Retention, Re-Invent, and Invention. All spun together to create Revention.
Since the initial release of the Revention POS platform in 2005, Revention has grown rapidly and now currently serves more than 10,000 customers in the US, Canada, Mexico, and UAE. Many new countries are currently onboarding to the Revention platform. A major role in Revention’s success is being a customer driven organization that listens to all customers’ needs and works hard to add those efficiencies into their environments.
Revention’s technology consists of Microsoft’s .Net Platform and a SQL Server Database. Keeping the technologies used to the most current standard at all times has allowed Revention to grow all products and become one of the most competitive options available.
Being a fast growing and dynamic company requires the right people. Revention has hand-picked many industry experts to form the best of all worlds. Our colorful workplace adds amenities to our staffing that keeps smiles on their faces all day long. This results in very satisfied customers.
To date, Revention has an unheard of customer retention rate. In nearly 10 years only 8 customers have left Revention’s product to move to another competitive offering. This includes 2 Small Regional Chains and 6 Restaurant Independents. Both chains have since came back and replaced all products bought from the competitive company. Regarding the 6 Independents, 4 came back, 1 reverted back to a Cash Register, and the last one moved to a product that they had used previously. So while we cannot state 100% customer retention, we’re closer than anyone else and maintain this level of excellence.
Revention has recently been recognized by several awards including Best Place to Work, Fastest Growing Technology Companies, and recently earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list.
