I have been working at Rho full-time (more than a year)

Low to no layoff strategy, casual work environment with skilled and highly motivated staff. Approachable CEOs who actually care about their employees, profit share, yearly bonus, an overall great place to work. Rho is a great place to get your feet wet in the industry and they are always looking for fresh, young talent.

Low turnover which is great, however it also limits job growth in some departments. Employees once a month, which can be a bit challenging.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Use the money required to pay for things like in office phone booths to pay the additional staff it would take to pay employees twice per month.

    Application Details

The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Rho in June 2010.

    Interview Details

The interview process was thorough, starting with a phone screen with HR, continuing with in-person interviews and phone calls with potential managers, and concluding with a behavioral interview with a senior executive. Particular emphasis was placed on areas of expertise, problem solving, and techniques for handling stress and conflict. Total time spent was less than 8 hours, but the process spanned multiple days because of difficulties with scheduling.

    Interview Questions
    • Describe a workplace conflict in your past, and how you handled it.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
Salary was negotiable but little else--leave time, signing bonus, retirement vesting were all off the table, or so I was given to understand. The yearly bonus is not substantial, which makes it more important to negotiate a starting salary you feel comfortable with.
