This is a company that cared for it's employees. When I started a decade ago, it was known as a "family friendly" company. The pay may not have been as high as other companies, but they tried to keep overtime to a minimum and the benefits were amazing. I was able to travel all over the world during breaks between movies, and at had MONTHS of accrued paid OT for just those breaks. The people were amazing and I was lucky to call it my home away from home.
Due to the changing local economic environment, companies like this one and others ended up having to implement longer overtime hours, and less and less benefits to try and stay afloat. Ironically, they didn't do enough to keep it afloat. They cared too much about it's people to take away benefits and let people go, that eventually it ended up folding.
