Rocky has an extremely friendly workplace, with good, hardworking people who respect each other and make work fun. They are family oriented, with lots of family and community events.Rocky is headquartered in the poorest county in Ohio, so they give back to the community on a grand scale and expect their employees to do the same. They have a very generous salary and benefits package, nice employee discount program. Good Quality and Continuous Improvement training program. Company goals and expectations are well communicated. If you are content to simply earn a paycheck and not trying to advance, you will be very happy here.
No chance for advancement or tuition reimbursement unless hand-selected to be in their management mentorship program, leaving those "not in the clique" feeling worthless and trapped. Vacation black-out for end-of-quarter/year-end, includes winter holidays.

Be mindful of individuals who try better themselves and care about the company and community and strive to make it a better place for all. These are your true assets.

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rocky Brands in December 2010.
I was told about the position and I called the Sales Manager. There was reorganization going on which led me to a new manager. I had a phone interview two days after the initial contact. It took another two weeks to finalize a time to meet in person. The interview went very well and professional. I really enjoyed the time spent. i was well prepared with a strategic plan and details of the territory and next steps. I have been in contact with the manager and I am still waiting. From what I can tell, the position is still open due to reorganizing of the territory. The manager has communicated when prompted by my email. It ahs been just over 45 days since my face to face interview
