Our History

Founded by Peter Rogers as a materials manufacturer for the textile industry, Rogers has changed a lot since 1832.

As one of the oldest public companies in America, Rogers has a rich legacy of innovation and collaborative problem-solving with our customers. From our early roots as a paperboard manufacturing company in 1832, Rogers has evolved into a global materials technology leader enabling a wide array of high-technology devices and systems.

Throughout our history, Rogers has successfully evolved and adapted our products, technologies, and manufacturing presence to meet the demands of current and emerging markets. We have expanded globally and built strong relationships with our customers worldwide.     Pros

    The people I worked with are really helpful and friendly. The job itself is interesting and you are treated very well here.

    Cons

    The location is awful. To live anywhere near a city or somewhere not as expensive as connecticut you have about an hour commute to work.

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Rogers Corporation in April 2014.

    Interview Details

    I applied for the Innovator position at Rogers Innovation Center online and got a phone interview a few days later.I then when in for a interview the week after.
    I spoke with five people and the Interview took about four hours. I received a call within a week offering me the position.

    • Most questions were pretty general and nothing too technical or tricky. But one question I remember was:
      In what percentage do you think you are smart vs wise? ( Is it 50/50 or...)
