I have been working at Rooms To Go (More than 5 years)
I have been with the company a little over 6 years. I have placed in the company top 100 sales associates for 5 years consecutive. My regional manager always jokes with me, if I had started sooner in the year I would have 6 years in the top 100 under my belt. This company treats the sales associates as though they are the only employee in the company. The major medical benefits are far above the national norm for companies have the size of ROOM TO GO. I have dental coverage, vision coverage, 401K, long term and short term coverage. I enjoy a generous employee discount on furniture purchases, not to mention the most incredible support team I could ask for. 2 weeks paid vacation per year, 40 hours of sick leave per year. Where else can you go and have a comfortable healthy work environment? I can think of any other company that is privately owned and treats their employee's any better. Prior to working for the company I owned and operated my own furniture store. Boy am I glad I found ROOMS TO GO. I sleep at night now.
Retail hours stink, but its part of the turf. My one and only CON working for ROOMS TO GO, is they do require you to work at least one to two "bells" per week. Bells being working from open to close. That makes for a very long work day. But other than that this company is near perfect. Another con would have to be, promoting within the corporate level... Doesn't happen!
Advice to Management
Keep up the great team efforts. Making your employees feel a part what ever so small it may be, still makes us feel validated.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Rooms To Go (Naples, FL) in September 2015.
First I was contacted by the phone, the person was very professional, then she sent me an email, with the info for a face to face interview. I went 10 min early to the interview, and the manager arrived like 15 mins late, He was polite and we talked to me for more than half an hour. Even he remarked he was please with the interview, he told me that he would prefer someone with more experience and less spanish accent...
