    Pros

Solid product, excellent support and hiring field sales team that is very competent. Dedicated to partners, and management team will do what it takes to win business.

    Cons

There is a bit of the 'old guard' mentality, specifically the people who have been there for a period of time are more 'valuable' than others, and they get treated as such. While dedication to those who got you there is admirable, enabling new additions with an equal amount of trust is needed. Upper management continues to try and drive sales team to find new areas of growth, but mid-level management at times loses focus on growth vs "making the number". Fear is a typical tactic used at quarter end, which results in growing concern that expanding the business is not as important as meeting the 'streets expectations'.

    Advice to Management

Have the confidence to allow the sales organization to broaden the customer base beyond typical markets, and reward new market growth. Mid-Level managers need training on management 101, as many are first time managers and lack some of the experience of those who work for them.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Ruckus Wireless (New York, NY) in February 2015.

    Interview

Positive interview experience. In spite of that got kicked out unceremoniously before talking to the hiring manager (final interviewer). Suspect that expected salary range did not match their expectation. Recruiter took the current salary information just at the beginning of the interview. Recruiter never responded to enquiries after that. First of all, he could have asked my expectation or current salary before scheduling the interview if that's a big deal for him. Or at least the company should have had a basic courtesy to respond to my enquiry -- whether it is a go or no-go or haven't decided yet. Something... Totally unprofessional !
