I worked at Rudolph & Sletten full-time (More than 3 years)

Great people have been there for decades. Easy to work within the system and learn over your first few years. People are eager to help and want you to succeed

Lots of churn in the construction industry in general, this is no exception. Many people have left, which means many new people have been hired. Hard to maintain culture with lots of shifts.

    Advice to Management

For the people who are true rock stars, tell them and pay them accordingly. People want to be wanted and salary/bonuses are how you show that. Don't be afraid of the 'bands,' reward those high achievers.

    Easy Interview

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Rudolph & Sletten (Irvine, CA) in November 2014.

The process was easy. They came to my university and had an information session, next day they held interviews there. Flew me out to location for more interviews. Showed me the office and who I would be working with.

It has built corporate campuses for Apple, Microsoft, and Sun Microsystems, as well as Lucasfilm's Skywalker Ranch production facility. Rudolph and Sletten is one of the US' largest general building contractors, with site selection, design/build, and construction management capabilities. Key projects also include biotech labs, hospitals, and schools. Onslow ... More
