Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, SMART Technologies Headquarters is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Work here includes research and development, marketing, and service provision for our award-winning products. Our headquarters features a fitness facility for staff and prioritized enrollment in the day care center, supporting staff efforts to achieve a healthy work-life balance. Business-casual attire is the norm, and the bright, two-story cafeteria at the center of the building is a great place to grab a bite to eat, replenish with some free coffee or hold an informal meeting.

The fit interview

Usually occurring after the first or second interview, fit interviews provide a chance for you and your potential team members to meet and get to know each other in an informal setting and assess whether you make a good fit for one another.

Discussions in these interviews cover a range of topics, from projects on the go to life outside the office. There are no scripts and no right or wrong answers. It's simply a group of people sitting down and finding common ground.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at SMART Technologies in April 2014.

    Interview Details

    Terse, slow, and red flags were raised. A little dry and less revealing than others. Convoluted and often indecisive . But a great place to get a practice exam but not deeply technical. Flying to HQ is a good idea. More team members participating would allow for more insight into the culture.
