    Application

I applied online – interviewed at SUNY Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY) in September 2010.

    Interview

Standard online employment application. Trying to get a foot in the door, I probably applied for 15 openings before getting one interview callback. The hospital is notorious for internal transfers, so most job postings don't even get to outside candidates.

I had one interview with the unit manager. She walked me around and gave me a tour of where I'd be working, introduced me to some co-workers, etc. I was offered the job at the conclusion of the interview and accepted.

    Interview Questions

    • Mostly, the questions were just along the lines of patient care and prior experiences.   Answer Question
