Candidates are selected whose educational background aligns with our core needs (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, etc) – and who have demonstrated the passion and enthusiasm that defines us as a company. Our program begins in early June, and is designed to fully immerse each individual into the Samsung culture. Students are assigned a mentor, are provided with Learning Objectives, have defined projects, are given workshops to guide them as they transition from college to career, and also participate in a Corporate Social Responsibility event. At the end of the program, students are required to do a presentation that illustrates what they’ve learned throughout the program. At the end of each program, top performers will be selected for conversion into full time positions.

I worked at Samsung Electronics America as an intern (less than an year)Pros
very kind people. They don't just put you there, they do teach you, analyze your advantage and give you the job that you are good with. They also give you feedback for your work.Cons
very tight schedule. Sometimes a little intense, but i like being busy.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Our HR manager scheduled a series of fun events. It was really awesome. During the intern program, we interns established a discussion group in which we discuss about our works. This discussion actually helped us a lot understand everyone's position in the company and provide opportunities for interns to work together if their work is related. I found this form of group really important. I wish this group form could remain in the program in the long runRecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO

- Application Details
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks – interviewed at Samsung Electronics America in September 2014.Interview Details
I applied for the job directly on Samsung's website and got a call for an interview within 2 to 3 weeks of application.
Interview was scheduled quickly over the phone, within 2 days of the call.
Samsung was very professional. All the correct information was provided so I would know who I was going to speak to and the office staff were very professional.
Went in for the interview with the HR representative who asked me some basic behavioral and typical questions then spoke to a member of the team I would be working for and the director of the departments it was within.
I got an email to get to the second stage on the same day, which was to take an extremely simple Excel test through their temp agency (the position is a temp position, and it seems most of the employees were hired in that manner).
I was hired the week after and went to fill out the paper work, starting the week after that.
Overall, the process since application took about 4 weeks.Interview Questions
