    I worked at Sanrio full-time

    Pros

Our clientele were generally happy to find a Sanrio and loved the products. It was a great company to work for. We had fun all the time while working hard.

    Cons

So many other merchants now carry Hello Kitty lines, it was sometimes difficult to justify our higher prices.

    Advice to Management

Keep on having fun and sharing the great products with the public.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sanrio (San Diego, CA).

    Interview

I asked if the manager if they were hiring. She did not have any applications on-site, but she did ask to write down my name, phone and availability. A couple days later, I received a call from her asking to come in the store for an orientation. I came in and was given the official application. Once I was done she trained me on how to work the register and how to work the floor.
