    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SapientNitro.

    Interview

I was called by the recruiter who mentioned that SN was growing and needed people who can be strategic and also execute. The interview included: Phone Screen, 4- 5 In-person interviews, in-person case assessment and presentation. Got all the way to the last round and didn't mesh with the potential co-worker who alone was assessing the case presentation and who seemed threatened by my skillset. He took a bunch of notes of my ideas and told me I did a good job but the offer didn't come through. The case to a wouldbe CEO was a surprise topic and interesting they evaluate you based on something you read 20 minutes ago which to me means more value on improvisational skills than planning skills.

    Interview Questions

    • One of the interviewers asked would you be able to travel 4 - 5x a week? The job description said "some travel" not 80 - 100%.   Answer Question
