I worked at Sea Pines Resort as a contractorRecommendsRecommends
The intangibles are what mainly sell the jobs at Sea Pines. -Living on an island -Work/Life Balance is amazing -Access to the beaches -Amazing Restuarants -Good work environment (family atmosphere) -Meet people from around the world on a daily basis. -Chance to develop good career skills and advance at other Resorts.
-Managers and Supervisors are laid-back mainly but do tend to micro-manage. -Commute to work is a drag, one way on and off the island. -Hurricane season is rough, and I mean rough (trees in the roads, powerlines down, stores sold out) -Not challenging as a job, day-to-day task can become monotonous
Advice to Management
Good job overall. Find new creative ways to motivate employees. Its a marathon not a sprint so most incentives dire out.
