Current Employee - RN Case Manager in Wilkes-Barre, PA

I have been working at Select Specialty Hospitals full-time for more than 5 years

Flexibility with schedule for salary employees. Ability to perform my job freely and comfortably. Great patient care and staff involvement with patients and families.

Floor staff under strict attendance policys and termination rules. Expect 1-2% yearly raises. No recognition to employees other than leadership team despite involvement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Personal growth, tuition reimbursement poor. Employee retention should be more of a focus. Corporate should be more aware of employee satisfaction and conduct exit interviews.

    Application Details

I applied through other source - interviewed at Select Specialty Hospitals in February 2010.

    Interview Details

Conducted by CNO. Relaxed and in person. Basic interview questions, quick and to the point. Provided tour of facility and expectations. Provided benefits review on the spot and discussed starting wage and differentials. CNO provided facility goals and dreams of where facility would be in five years and hopes for staff education. This was one of the best CNO's I have ever met and worked for.
