    Excellent training and supervisory guidance
    Very rewarding experience for the time I was employed with Sequel

    Cons

    The kids we mentor are a handful, but that comes with the job.
    Low pay for supervisors, youth counselors make more after overtime, which supervisors do not get on salary

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Sequel Youth & Family in July 2012.

    Interview Details

    Its your typical interview process. What I have found is that they publish a job, but you don't know that you are interviewing for a night shift position. Once you find out, they tell you that in 3-4 months you will be promoted to days or second shift. There is promise for promotion and they give you a tour, and you get to see the operation. They ask the usual questions, but are vague in details about things like benefits, and vacation time. They ask about experience, and education.

    • Questions about getting into certain situations where you would have to contain residents, or what would you do in certain situations. The questions and situations vary from interview to interview.   Answer Question
