The flexibility to experiment new ideas and approach is something I look forward everyday at work. The environment is user-friendly. We can reach anyone in no time. They always find time for you! Working under Dr. Yan is a great experience, as she is transparent in her communication and most importantly she is open to discussions and motivates to try new approaches in solving the problem at hand. HR Team is very helpful right from the beginning of my interview, on-boarding process, as well as on any personal-level guidance. As a startup, there were few changes in the overall organization, mainly to focus on one goal and work towards that. Moreover, the reasoning behind the decision was clearly conveyed to us.
I have nothing in particular. If I may have any in the future, I can directly provide my suggestions to the team :) The team is open-minded and welcomes feedback.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ShareThis in August 2015.
I answered several technical questions about general software engineering practice as well as big data in written format. Then I was contacted for a phone screen from the company's HR tech recruiter. The HR was very friendly, and took time to inform me of the current state of the company and its culture. After that, I had received second phone screen (Google Hangout) with an engineer covering more technical matters.
